Candidate for admission to the first year of the UG degree programme shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination (Academic or Vocational) conducted by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in the relevant subjects or other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed therefor. | Admission is made on the basis of qualifying examination marks and additional weightage will be given as per the Periyar University Regulations. |
