Maximum efforts are being made to prevent ragging on campus. Anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively, or being a part of a conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009 as well as under the penal law for the time being in force. In conformity with the UGC regulation, the Management of Don Bosco College has constituted an anti-ragging committee with aims and objectives to eradicate all sorts of ragging from the College. The campus is presently a ragging free campus and so far since its inception no case of ragging incident has been reported so far. Students are advised to bring cases of ragging (either on the college campus or hostel) to the notice of the Principal. The Anti-ragging Committee is responsible for dealing with the incidence of ragging brought to its notice and to conduct free and transparent enquiry giving adequate opportunity to the student(s) involved in ragging.
